I have been married to my wife Connie for 17 years. We have an 11 year old son Matt, who shot his first Tom this spring.

My father introduced me to the outdoors at a young age. As I have grown older bowhunting has grown from a hobby to an obsession. I enjoy being in the outdoors.

Bowhunting is a very important part of my life it is only third behind god and family. I really understand what Vince Lombardi meant in some of his famous quotes. Just substitute bowhunting for football.

I also enjoy coaching youth sports, I help coach my sons football and baseball teams. Coaching gives me an opportunity to give something back to our community. It is very rewarding. I believe I will continue to coach when my son moves on to the Junior high and hopefully high school levels.

I have tried many different safety restraints when it comes to hanging treestands and hunting. I have found treehoppers design to be the least restrictive and most comfortable to use allowing hands free movement while secure and strapped to the tree.
